Cool Surfer!
U have to be one to know something about everything...soon the dude with the surf board will be replaced by key board, carrying his lap top(or a palm) and chillin on the beach with chicks crooning around him.
Thats b'coz he knows which website to go get to the right place at the right time, with best package, and also learn the local language and tradition...there you go you are a survivor.
To go to right website for what you are looking for is not in your search or search engine...even though its a right place to start dont get stuck with what you get, keep movig out and coming back...simply put it's an art to perfect.
For a long time directories like yahoo were the only option in case you needed some info..but how many website would a group of take 1000 people enter in a day whe he cyber space was growing in such monstrous rate...so enter web crawlers or meta crawlers like google, dopile or altavista which would take the search term and crawl around and get you the closest results...this too is not enough if you need to go to the right place..So how do you get what you want?
You cancheck out apps such as ucmore , this helps you get to more relevent websites Ex: If you are in an airline site it would suggest other airline sites, continents and travel sites. good but still not good enough.
what you need is to go at a search like you are seeking the truth of universe...slow, focused, open mind, feerless and committed.

I wanna pod!!
For the less informed i don't mean a school of marine mammals but the great new invention of this millenium.. IPOD an MP3 player by Apple who also make computers called mac or macintosh.
Now lets get to the deal, How will it shape the technology of the future, our music listening style, mass communication, and our minds to embrace the future? Ipod according to me is a tool which will a bring neccesity for steardy, asthetic and yet easy-to-use gadgets in the market and hence playing mother to give birth to other invention much like they did in the past with GUI, mouse etc
Ipod gen 4 what we have right now will diversify into much more than a MP3 player and a external hard disk.We will see it as camera, phone, palmtop... 'steve' knows what.Much like yahoo, a portal with come-here-and-get-it-all feel to it.
The reason i'm so optiomistic about Ipod is that it came in at the right time, offering the best technology at an awesome price. It caught the not just the geeks attention but also of uncle next door who was looking at someting to gift his nephew for the thanks giving.
It is sleek lookin, does things like record voice (Italk) a FM transmitter (Itrip) and with new technology like Bluetooth coming in we will see soon what our grandchildren might call the ENIAC.
We need another Xerox or linux but easy to digest for a layman, Ipod has already penetrated the maket , now they can bring in the fireworks much like attachments and take it where no human has taken it before...
